Privacy Policy

• General
  This privacy policy describes the access, collection, usage and sharing of data.
• Personal and Sensitive Data
  This app does not collect any personal or sensitive data, except location data.
• Sensor Data
  All sensor data (including geographic location) is stored only on the local memory within the device. From there, the user may copy it to an external PC, in order to post-process the data files with other software – e.g. kml files with Google Earth, csv files with MS Excel.
• Location Data (User consent required)
  is used to track the device position and to show the track on a map.
• Background Location (User consent required)
  This app collects location data to enable GPS tracking (for the storage of location data and for the menus "Graphic", "Track", "Map" and "Histo"), even when the app is closed or not in use. In this case the location data will continue to be recorded even if the display is switched off. This measure protects the battery charge and improves the runtime.
• Audio Recording (User consent required)
  is only used to display the microphone level or spectrum. There is no eavesdropping function. No speech is recorded or transmitted.
• Access to Files (User consent required)
  is only used to record the measurement data and to save the configuration. The "Map" menu also needs it. There is no access to external data or other apps.
• Data Sharing
  No data exchange is done via internet, neither to the supplier of this app, nor to any commercial partners. Exceptions are the download of data for the menu "Map" and the upload of data for geo coding (translation from address to lat/lon) and for the voice input (microphone icon in the menus "Map" and "Search").
• Request Permissions
  For each of the features above marked with “User consent required”, the reason for the request is disclosed and the user is asked for his permission. If the user denies one or more permissions, the related function will be restricted.
